Consent for PKP CARGO

The President of UOKiK has issued her consent for taking control over Przedsiębiorstwo Spedycyjne Trade Trans by PKP Cargo
PKP Cargo operates on the market of railway freight transport as well as provides services facilitating transport, connected with freight forwarding, and storing of goods. Przedsiębiorstwo Spedycyjne Trade Trans deals with shipping industry on Polish market as well as in Europe and Asia.
Under the existing regulations, a transaction is subject to a notification submitted to the antitrust authority if the transaction participants' combined turnover in the year preceding the notification exceeded 1 billion euro worldwide or 50 million euro in Poland
Having conducted the antimonopoly proceedings, the President of UOKiK decided that the concentration stall not significantly restrict competition.
Under the existing regulations, a transaction is subject to a notification submitted to the antitrust authority if the transaction participants' combined turnover in the year preceding the notification exceeded 1 billion euro worldwide or 50 million euro in Poland.
We would like to inform that infomation on all antitrust proceedings concerning conentrations carried out by UOKiK, is available at the Office’s website.
Simultaneously we would also like to remind about the contest for journalists „Libertas et Auxilium”. Authors of interesting articles and broadcasts on competition or consumer protection (not necessarily connected with UOKiK) have an opportunity to win PLN 10 000.
