The President of UOKiK has issued her consent for taking control over the part of property of Zakłady Mięsne Salus by ABP Poland

Participants of the concentration deal inter alia with meat production. The transaction shall consist in taking control over the plant for beef processing in Pniewo,  belonging to Zakłady Mięsne Salus, by ABP Poland.

Under the existing regulations, a transaction is subject to a notification submitted to the antitrust authority if the transaction participants' combined turnover in the year preceding the notification exceeded 1 billion euro worldwide or 50 million euro in Poland

Having carried out the antitrust proceedings, the President of the Office decided that the concentration shall not significantly restrict competition.

Under the existing regulations, a transaction is subject to a notification to the antitrust authority if the combined worldwide turnover of undertakings participating in the concentration in the financial year preceding the year of the notification exceeded the equivalent of EUR 1 000 000 000, or EUR 50 000 000 in Poland.

We would also like to inform that information on all antitrust proceedings concerning conentrations conducted  by UOKiK is available at the Office’s website.
