President of UOKiK recalled

Today the Prime Minister recalled Małgorzata Krasnodębska-Tomkiel from holding the position of the President of UOKiK
Małgorzata Krasnodębska-Tomkiel was the President of UOKiK since 4th June 2008 and involved in operations of the Office since 1998. She was responsible for shaping the antimonopoly and consumer protection policies, including initiating and supervising the works on the draft Act on competition and consumer protection.
Małgorzata Krasnodębska-Tomkiel will be still on duty till the appointment of her successor.
The President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection is the central organ of public administration, directly subordinate to the Prime Minister and appointed by the PM from amongst candidates selected by way of an open and competitive recruitment procedure.
