Consent for concentration - Stary Browar in Poznan

The President of UOKiK has issued her consent to take control over Nowy Stary Browar and Fortis Nowy Stary Browar by Hedan
Hedan of Luxembourg belongs to the Atrium capital group, the owner of shopping centers in several Polish cities, including Promenada and Targówek in Warszawa. Nowy Stary Browar is the owner of the property Stary Browar – Centrum Sztuki i Biznesu in Poznan. Fortis Nowy Stary Browar deals with property rental and management. As a result of the concentration Hedan will own 100 percent shares of the acquired companies.
Under law a transaction is subject to notification to the antitrust authority, if it involves undertakings whose total turnover in the preceding year exceeded EUR 1 billion worldwide and EUR 50 million in Poland
Having conducted the antitrust proceedings the President of the Office decided that the concentration will not significantly restrict competition.
