Consent for concentration: Wolong

President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection has given her consent to Wolong Holding Group to take control over ATB Austria Antriebstechnik

Chinese company Wolong Holding Group heads a capital group operating mainly in the production and sale of vehicle batteries, engines and electric bicycles. ATB Austria Antriebstechnik is primarily engaged in manufacturing of electrical control systems used in such devices as electric motors. In Poland, it owns a subsidiary Tamel FSE, which deals with sales of electric motors. As a result of the concentration Wolong Holding Group will assume control over ATB and its subsidiaries.

Under law a transaction is subject to notification to the antitrust authority, if it involves undertakings whose total turnover in the preceding year exceeded EUR 1 billion worldwide and EUR 50 million in Poland

Having conducted antitrust proceedings the President of Office concluded that the concentration would not significantly restrict competition.
