There is over 250 million web pages* worldwide. We will not find all the information needed on any. But thanks to the newsletters interesting messages can be sent to the selected e-mail address. Already 5321 people use the electronic newsletter of UOKiK
Only in July this year on the website of UOKiK there appeared 32 messages, 16 notifications of dangerous products, 16 notifications of concentration, and 2 invitations to tender. Tracking the Authority’s site allows to keep attuned to the issues of competition and consumer protection. But this is not the only way to get quick and easy access to the messages published by the Authority.
If we lack the time to visit UOKiK site on a daily basis and we want to access the strictly selected information we may take advantage of the newsletter or RSS channels, which will allow for downloading the selected information. The advantages of these two solutions include easy use and the possibility to track information on an ongoing basis as we receive them at the same time as they are published on the site of the Authority
To register for the UOKiK newsletter it is enough to provide the e-mail address. This tool allows for receipt of information from different departments. We may choose between the news (e.g. messages on completed investigations), comments and explanations (e.g. the position of President of UOKiK and corrections), unsafe products (e.g. the detection of workmanship defects in vehicles) and procurement (tender notice and awarding).
To use one of the RSS channels you must install on your computer or other device through which you connect to the Internet, such as a mobile phone, a RSS channel reader. Then we may choose one or more RSS channels provided by the Authority. In addition to the categories available by the newsletter via RSS we can benefit from the addition of channel information about concentrations, which enables us to keep track of the concentration notifications submitted to the Authority on an ongoing basis.
