Consent for concentration: McCormick & Company

President of UOKiK has agreed for acquisition by McCormick & Company of control over Paciotti

McCormick Group operates, among others in the production and distribution of food seasonings. Paciotti holding company is controlled by the Cyprus law firm A.T.S. Services. It does not currently have any subsidiaries, and plans to take control of Kamis – operating in the market of food spices, herbs and other cooking accessories.

In accordance with the provisions, the transaction is subject to notification to the antitrust authority, if it involves enterprises whose total turnover in the preceding year exceeded EUR 1 billion globally or EUR 50 million in Poland

After the antitrust proceedings, the President of the Authority concluded that the concentration will not significantly reduce competition.

According to the rules the transaction should be subject to notification to the antitrust authority, if it involves enterprises whose total turnover in the preceding year exceeded EUR 1 billion worldwide, or EUR 50 million in Poland

We would like to inform you that the website of the Authority contains information about all antitrust proceedings in concentration cases that are conducted by the Authority.
