UOKiK's consent for Statoil Poland

The President of UOKiK issued her consent for the acquisition of a part of the property of St1 Polska by Statoil Poland
The concentration participants provide retail sale on the fuel market. According to the contract between the companies, Statoil Poland takes over a part of the St1 Polska’s property, e.g. immovables, used to operate filling stations.
Under the existing regulations, a transaction is subject to a notification submitted to the antitrust authority if the transaction participants' combined turnover in the year preceding the notification exceeded 1 billion euro worldwide or 50 million euro in Poland
Upon the completion of antitrust proceeding, the President of UOKiK decided that the concentration shall not significantly restrict competition in Poland.
Under the existing regulations, a transaction is subject to a notification submitted to the antitrust authority if the transaction participants' combined turnover in the year preceding the notification exceeded 1 billion euro worldwide or 50 million euro in Poland.
Simultaneously, we would like to inform that the information on all antitrust proceedings regarding mergers and acquisitions carried out by UOKiK is available at the Office’s website.
