UOKiK's consents:Decenio, Novatek Polska, Bać-Pol, ABM Solid

New concentrations have received the green light from the President of UOKiK. Transactions on fruit and vegetable preserves, fuel wholesale, food and tobacco products, road construction and electrotechnical products markets do not infringe competition

The first decision relates to Agros Nova taken over by Decenio. Decenio belongs to IK Investment Partners group operating in the field of private capital investments in various sectors. Agros Nova manufactures and sells fruit and vegetable preserves, such as juice, jam, sauce, tomato concentrate and ketchup.

The President of UOKiK also issued a consent for acquisition of Intergaz-System by Novatek Polska. Concentration participants provide fuel and fuel derivatives wholesale. Consequently to the concentration, Novatek Polska will acquire 100% of shares of Intergaz-System.

Another decision concerns the transaction between Bać-Pol and Janików & WIM. The undertakings deal with e.g. food, beverages and tobacco products wholesale. The transaction will consist in acquisition of 100% of shares of Janików & WIM by Bać-Pol.

Moreover, ABM Solid may take control over Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Inżynieryjnych Budownictwa (PRIB). Both undertakings operate inter alia in the road construction industry. The transaction will consist in acquisition of 53.75 % of votes at PRIB general meeting  of  shareholders by ABM Solid.

Upon the completion of antitrust proceedings, the President of UOKiK decided that the concentrations will not significantly restrict competition in Poland.

Under the existing regulations, a transaction is subject to a notification submitted to the antitrust authority if the transaction participants' total turnover in the year preceding the notification exceeded 1 billion euro worldwide or 50 million euro in Poland.

We would also like to inform you that information on all antitrust proceedings related to mergers and acquisitions carried out by UOKiK is available at the Office's website.
