On March 21-25 UOKiK experts met their counterparts in Rabat during the first expert mission in the Twinning project "Strengthening the institutional capacity of the Competition Office" in Morocco.

Experts launched two project components managed by UOKiK: "Modernization of the regulatory and methodological tools in line with the EU acquis and good practices" and "Support in promoting the competition culture".

In particular, UOKiK identified the precise needs of the beneficiary through several meetings with their counterparts from the Moroccan Competition Authority. The process of dialogue and consultations with the Moroccan side will help create customized products which answer the real needs and take into consideration the local conditions of the antimonopoly office.

The next stage of cooperation within the Twinning framework will be a study visit of Moroccan experts who will visit Poland in May.
