The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection at the UN Digital Summit

- During the UN Digital Summit, Internet Governance Forum, the UOKiK organised three panels.
- Watch the discussions with the participation of the representatives of the UOKiK, the world of science, non-governmental organisations and the business world.
Digitalisation through the use of artificial intelligence in public administration. Watch the discussion with the participation of, i.a., Tomasz Chróstny, the President of the UOKiK, and Antoni Rytel, the Deputy Director of the GovTech Poland Programme.
“Sustainable consumption in e-commerce”. The panel was attended by, i.a., Nils Behrndt - the acting Deputy Director-General in the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers at the European Commission, Peter Andrews - the Director of Consumers International, Maciej Czapliński - the Counsel from the UOKIK.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) for consumer protection. The discussion was attended by, i.a., Jacek Marczak - the Deputy Director at the UOKiK branch in Bydgoszcz, Bob Wouters - EU eLab at European Commission, Marcin Krasuski from Google Poland.
The UN Digital Summit (Internet Governance Forum/IGF 2021) was held from 6 to 10 December 2021 in Katowice. IGF 2021 is an international meeting organised at the initiative of the United Nations. The topics of the discussion were the opportunities and challenges posed by the Internet and ways of using its full potential.
