< previous | next > 15.07.2021
- On 1 July, UOKiK began implementing the project "Institutional Strengthening of the Republic of Armenia in Building a Consumer Protection System".
- The project is co-financed within Poland's development cooperation programme run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Its direct objective involves supporting the institutional abilities and strengthening the human capital of the Armenian Competition Protection Commission (CPC) in relation to its new area of competence – consumer protection. UOKiK's activities include analysing legislative solutions and preparing opinions/recommendations in this respect. Furthermore, UOKiK's experts will support the CPC in the practical implementation of consumer protection in Armenia.
The project will be implemented from July to December 2021 as part of the "Polish Aid" – development cooperation programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. The project is co-financed from the state budget. The amount of funding is PLN 164,400.00.
The planned activities, including study visits, will also serve to create stronger, mutually beneficial relations between the competent authorities of Poland and Armenia. For more information on the "Polish Aid" programme, visit https://www.gov.pl/web/polishaid.
