Poland's competition Authority approves five concentrations

Logistics, IT product distribution, and construction among the industries to be affected by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) decisions clearing three acquisitions and two joint ventures.
In the first transaction, construction companies PG Europe and Marvipol will form a joint venture, PDC Industrial Center 60. The new company is to build a logistics warehouse in Chlebnia, Mazowieckie Province.
On the logistics market, OT Logistics has been cleared to acquire the companies STK and Kolej Bałtycka, both of which have rail freight and sidings operations.
In other joint venture activity, fund company KGHM IV Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamknięty Aktywów Niepublicznych and Polski Holding Nieruchomości, which manages real estate and investments, will be combining their efforts in building two office buildings in Wroclaw.
On the wholesale IT market, wholesaler ABC Data has been approved to acquire S4E, a distributor of computer equipment and programming.
On the construction market, Colas has been cleared to take over Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Dróg „Drogopol-Zw”. Both companies engage in construction and road maintenance.
